In the second block of the stage we will travel through the famous endurance sections of Cartaya, Arroyo Gordo, Las Madamas, El enduro Clásico,.. more than 18km of continuous ups and downs full of stones where the runners must call upon their best technical skill and take care of the mechanics in a terrain of pure strength.

The final part will run from the Tavirona Bridge along the greenway of the Coast and through very fast terrain to Islantilla Beach passing through parts of Golf Courses and reaching the same seashore.

The most complicated area is about 15km long (tracks with stones, going up and down, without extreme slopes), medium technical level, nothing dangerous or extreme, always looking for the fun of the riders.

Estuaries, pine forests and fields of fruit trees and greenhouses of crops will be the travel companions in the first part until we cross thick groves, in which water courses and channels are interspersed.

It is the typical landscape that connects the coast of Huelva with the inland area. Nature in its purest form with the pine forest, the lanes and the sands as protagonists.

Along with this, the coastal landscape, with very long beaches, green fields and marsh areas, common among the natural landscapes of Marismas del Odiel and Marismas de Isla Cristina.

Departure from the Huerto Ramírez to the town of El Granado, strong fire ramps will mark this beginning of the stage where the peloton will be broken into a thousand pieces.

We will go up to the wind farm and from there we will go to the border with Portugal where we will link up from El Cañaveral the Guadiana Trail, 15km of spectacular scenery along the banks of the Guadiana River where we will reach Sanlúcar de Guadiana.

Its famous ascent to the Castle of San Marcos and descent of Los Burros will be a decisive point in the Stage to continue along the course of the Rivera del Guadiana about 5km more.
The final stretch of the stage will be on wider tracks but with an upward trend where the strongest will pull ahead and weaknesses will be accentuated until the arrival at the Huerto Ramírez.

The most difficult part of this stage is the Guadiana path, medium difficulty with some stairs that will have to be done on foot (100% of the participants and about 30 meters in total, but it will be worth it for the fun and the views that the border with Portugal and the Guadiana river).

Leg breaking stage that goes up and down. 14 km path next to the Guadiana river, where you will have to show your skills.

In the heart of the Andévalo of Huelva, the rainfed terrain predominates, with areas of scrub and little forest. Wind farms, hills and remnants of ancient mining activity embrace small white villages.

The Guadiana greenway moves to points on the banks of the Guadiana such as the Port of La Laja, the last navigable point of the river where, at the beginning of the twentieth century, there was an important port to move minerals from the nearby mines to the main markets of Europe.

The river borders Portugal and castles and mountainous areas are frequent overlooking the riverbed, as in the case of Sanlúcar del Guadiana.

Departure from the Wharf of the Caravels in La Rabida. The first kilometres passing through the towns of Palos de la Frontera towards Lucena are flat stretches where the peloton can face this long day with more comfort. Once we pass under the Centennial Highway, the Dolmens Zone begins, with continuous slopes towards the Beas Reservoir area.

From there we will go to the municipality of Valverde where we will find the dreaded ascent to the Masegoso, the Puyatas and the descent to the super fire breaks that will leave us at the foot of the town of Berrocal to which we will access with a new ascent with quite a steep slope.

In the town of Berrocal we will descend through the most technical trial of the day that will leave us on the banks of the Rio Tinto where we will follow its greenway for a few kilometres. We will leave the Greenway to enter a new area in continuous ascent with some breaks that will leave us in the Nerva mine, a spectacular and stony area from where we will arrive at the Rio Tinto Mining Park at full speed. Beware of mining stones, they are treacherous!

Without technical difficulty, the most physical of all the stages and with easy pedaling terrain.
